Goonellabah Public School has a long tradition of involvement at the Far North Coast Dance Festival, which alternates performances annually between HOTA - Home of the Arts Centre on the Gold Coast and the Lismore Workers Club in Lismore. Children performing in this festival are from Years 5 and 6 and numbers range between 30 and 60 depending on the venue.
We also perform annually at the Lismore Performing Arts Festival as well as our own Goonellabah Public School concert.
The aim of the dance group is to give any interested child the opportunity to join something that is fun and conducted in a non-competitive environment.
