Goonellabah Public School Library
Our Library is a wonderful and peaceful environment for all to read books, borrow, do research and engage in quiet activities.
The Library is open at lunch 4 days a week and classes visit the Library each week for borrowing, the promotion of literature and research skills.
Students are encouraged to have a Library Bag for borrowing.
Celebrating Bookweek
Each year in Book Week we celebrate books and Australian authors and illustrators.
Classroom teachers and the teacher librarian develop activities and community members visit classrooms and tell or read stories to highlight the importance of reading.
Classes are also invited to visit the local library to participate in the Book Week celebrations.
